What lady doesn't think firemen are cute? Just for fun, we thought we'd start off your Monday with a smile and these
two new little recruits (our nephews Lucas and Tanner, seen here with their Dad, Eric), who are the most adorable ever. We hope you all enjoyed the weekend. Brian worked the whole weekend, and Sherry worked on the house. Our appliances were delivered (yahoo!), so we at least have a refrigerator for cold drinks now. (Sherry went to the Johnny Foodmaster and bought so many cold drinks that the checker and bagger commented on it.
Never shop when you are thirsty!) We also have a range, dishwasher and microwave/hood, but those haven't been hooked up yet. In Massachusetts, installing those requires multiple permits by plumbers and electricians, so the plumbers and electricians are dealing with that and will be coming later this week to install them.
Now that the floors are sealed and the appliances delivered, we're unpacking the kitchen.
We also got cable and internet finally, so it's starting to feel less like we're camping. Or, at least, less like back-country camping and more like car camping. ;)
Which brings us to our question of the day (and we better get more response
than last time): Speaking of camping-- Does anyone
have fun summer plans? We know Becky just returned from Canyon Ranch,
and Liz is headed to Poland . . .

Considering the move and the upcoming wedding, no fun summer plans for us. We have two weekend road trips to the Bay Area planned but that's about it. We don't even think we'll go on a real honeymoon until next year sometime.
Oh no! No Lizzie???!!! Well, that just means you'll have to come when our house is actually together and we have a/c and all... So, probably better for you! That's great that you'll have a chance to bond with Walter.
