Last week

Since Brian is working this weekend, we thought we would just post some photos from the past week or so. Last weekend, we had a nice dinner at the home of our friends, the Regniers. We have known Christian and Anne since we last lived in Boston, when Brian and Chris were roommates and good friends, and Sherry and Anne became very close friends as well. To the left is a photo we took of Anne and their dear daughter, Madeline, on Saturday night. Maddie just turned 1 last month. Also taking place over the weekend down in Dallas, was a baby shower for our friends Steve and Shannon, and thrown by our friends Becky and Mark (and Becky's mom). Here they are (right) opening a gift from us, and we can almost hear Shannon in this picture saying, in her sweet Southern Belle way, "This is from Sherry and Brian, y'all. They live in Boston, so they couldn't come..." ;) They are going to be wonderful parents when their first child, daughter, Emerson, is born (in May). Congratulations, you two-- wish we could have been there! Finally, on Monday Brian attended a Department of Surgery Dinner at the Harvard Club of Boston (click for link). He had a great time, and Sherry was disappointed that she was unable to attend due to work conflicts. Brian works with a great group of people. For more photos from the event, click here.
