Happy New Year!

*Happy New Year!*

Well, 2006 has arrived! Boston is a city that really knows how to ring in the New Year! It's city wide festivities, called "First Night Boston" include everything from free concerts and art exhibits around the city, to a parade, to two sets of fireworks, to ice sculptures set up around the city. Most of the streets were blocked off, and food stands set up everywhere. The city streets were packed, and a stage set up with performers and a light show for the countdown in Copley Square. Brian was working most of the night, so Sherry spent the evening with Sherry and Jens. Jens was on home call, so the Sherrys wandered through the city's First Night festivities for a while. Then the Sherrys and Jens enjoyed a wonderful fondue dinner at Sherry and Jens' place.
Later they all went to Copley Square for the countdown! It was fun. Brian finally got out of the hospital a bit later, and came by Sherry and Jens'.
